A Better Way to Clean:  Soft Wash

It’s officially 2019.  Don’t you think it’s time we find a better way to clean?  At Peak Power Wash, we talk a lot about green cleaning methods and what sets us apart from our competitors.  But today, we want to get into specifics.  We prefer a soft wash approach, as opposed to traditional power washing.  If you’re not familiar with this technique, let us explain.

Why is it “soft”?

Well, that’s because we use considerably less pressure than your average power washers.  Too often, we feel that force can do more damage to surfaces than it can to clean them.  Especially when we’re dealing with more sensitive materials, like wood, stone, or masonry. We wanted to develop a technique that was safe for pretty much any home, including historic properties that want to preserve their original finishes—minus the grime.  Thus, we have our soft wash approach that turns down the pressure, but uses a higher volume of water to gently rinse away all the dirt, mold, and allergens.

Is it still effective?

Absolutely!  The secret to our technique lies in the cleaning products we use. Rather than relying on sheer force to wash away dirt and grime, we try to target the problem(s) with a specific detergent.  So, part of our process is surveying the area to be power washed—or soft washed—ahead of time.  If you have specific stains or mold/mildew, then we have the right combination to lift that issue.  By using only compatible cleansers, our soft washing achieves the same level of clean (or better) than your average power washing.  Don’t believe us?  Just look around our website for examples of jobs well done!

Is it eco-friendly?

That’s one of the best features of our soft wash technique.  Apart from being super effective, it’s also environmentally-friendly. Because we really get to pick and choose what chemicals we use, we try to source the most biodegradable and eco-friendly options on the market!  These help to protect your surfaces, your surrounding landscape, and ultimately your local environment.  Right now, there’s a huge shift toward green cleaning happening, but that’s not why we got into soft washing.  We simply think this is a better approach for both our homes and our customers.

If you want to learn more about our soft wash technique or our other business practices, please don’t hesitate to contact us!  At Peak Power Wash, we want to help you find a better way to clean—this year and every year. For us, that’s soft washing.  Let us try it on your home and you’ll see why!
